ImageI really enjoyed my time in Ellijay at the campground. I spent some time with my friend, Karen. We talked a lot, read books, walked around the campground, drove around the resort and town. Karen grilled some BBQ Chicken for us that was wonderful. I also read a little in a book that I had. I have a sore throat and cold congestion, so I’m not writing much for the blog – just posting some pictures of the memory.

I had a friend comment on the town having a ‘weird’ name. I suppose that the resort name is also ‘weird’. <I’ve been informed that Coosawattee means ‘Green Rivers’ in Cherokee.> In Georgia, many rivers and towns are named with Indian names. After a while of seeing and hearing it in the area, we get used to it.
