I have a friend who purchases season football tickets, but doesn’t like night games (i.e., has to go to work in the morning). So, I was able to connect with her and get a ticket that she didn’t want. I was told that last week, a neighbor in the season-ticket section sold their tickets to someone from the opposing team -and- that is a ‘no-no’ in the ticket-resale-rulebook. Anyway, I was in the ‘home-team’ area and I had a wonderful time. The Falcons won 56 – 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
I took many pictures of the new stadium under construction – right next to the current stadium. Also, on top of the parking deck, there is a lawn area where vendors and the Falcons promotions play games and sell items. The Georgia Dome is the Marta stop of the Falcons games and next to Philips Arena, the large concert venue. One of the pictures is blurred because the escalator was moving when I pressed the shutter. Also, I saw the Garth Brooks/Trisha Yearwood show on 9/28 and included a picture of the stage for the last shot.
